Prices checked on 29 October 2026 across the shops Reacondi compares, in Mexican pesos. This guide gathers fifteen phones that had a refurbished offer that day, seven iPhone and eight Galaxy, in four ranges: under $3,000, $3,000 to $6,000, $6,000 to $10,000 and over $10,000. It ends with the phones to avoid if the phone is a gift. The "from" price is the lowest we found, whatever the grade or capacity, so we say how many GB that offer is. Under each range are cards with today's price, which update on their own even when this text does not.

How to read the list

  • The refurbished price comes first and the new one after it. If there is no new price, or the one we saw was not comparable, we leave it out.
  • The new price comes from the offers that shops and sellers list as new, almost always on Mercado Libre. It is not the maker's official price, and sometimes it is for a different capacity than the refurbished one. When that happens, we say so.
  • The shops' words are quoted in Spanish, as each shop writes them, with the meaning in brackets the first time: "Seminuevo" [pre-owned], "Garantía de 5 días" [5-day warranty], "24 meses de garantía CeX" [24-month CeX warranty]. The condition ("Seminuevo", "Grado C CeX", "Excelente (Reacondicionado)") and the warranty are each shop's words, not an inspection by us. What each grade letter means is in the grade guide.
  • If it is a gift bought online, the time to return it runs from when it is delivered to you, or from when you sign the contract if that is later, not from when the recipient unwraps it. We explain it in how to give refurbished tech at Christmas.

What to avoid when giving a phone

  • A phone locked to a carrier. A listing that says "solo AT&T" [AT&T only] or "bloqueado" [locked] describes a phone that accepts the SIM of one carrier only. The recipient may not use that carrier. How to unlock one is in US, Chinese or European iPhone in Mexico and the eSIM.
  • An iPhone 14 or later sold in the United States, if the recipient has a physical SIM. According to that guide, those phones have no tray and need an eSIM that the carrier activates. Apple's iPhone 17 page says it does not support a physical SIM. Before you buy, confirm with the recipient's carrier that it will activate the eSIM.
  • An Android with a Chinese ROM. According to the same guide, it arrives without the Play Store or Google services.
  • An iPhone that is not on the iOS 27 list. According to Apple, iOS 27 is compatible with the iPhone 11 and later, and with the iPhone SE 2nd generation and later. The iPhone XR, the XS and older models are not on that list.
  • A phone with no verifiable IMEI, or with a model number that does not match the box. The IMEI is checked on the CRT portal, and the rest of the checks are in what to check when it arrives.
  • A battery the shop did not put in writing. Ask for the battery health percentage, the IMEI and the model number of the phone they will send you, as your rights when buying a refurbished phone suggests.
