Which tablet to give as a gift in Mexico, refurbished iPad and Galaxy Tab by budget

Prices checked on 29 October 2026 across the shops Reacondi compares, in Mexican pesos. This guide gathers eleven tablets that had a refurbished offer that day, iPad and Galaxy Tab, and sorts them by who will use them: kids, students and adults, in four price ranges. The "from" price is the lowest we found, whatever the grade or capacity, so each line says how many GB that offer is. Only two of the eleven models had a new offer that day, the Galaxy Tab A11 and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE. What each tablet has comes from its maker's spec sheet, and the condition and warranty from what each shop writes in its listing. Under each range are cards with today's price, which update on their own even when this text does not.

How to read the list

• The refurbished price comes first and the new one after it. If there is no new price, it is because no shop we compare had it new that day.
• The shops' words are quoted in Spanish, as each shop writes them, with the meaning in brackets the first time: "Seminuevo" [pre-owned], "Garantía de 5 días" [5-day warranty], "24 meses de garantía CeX" [24-month CeX warranty]. The condition ("Seminuevo", "Grado C CeX", "XMKT Certified") and the warranty are each shop's words, not an inspection by us. What each grade letter means is in the grade guide.
• When a listing does not say whether the tablet is Wi-Fi only or has cellular data, ask before you pay. The CeX offers we cite say "Wi-Fi".

Before you pay

Each card leads to the model page, where every offer is listed by shop, capacity and grade. Compare the warranty there, because on this list it runs from "Garantía de 5 días" to "24 meses de garantía CeX", and sometimes the price gap between the two is $25. For an iPad, the guide to refurbished iPads explains how to check the Activation Lock, which iPadOS each generation gets and which Apple Pencil fits. When it arrives, follow what to check when it arrives before wrapping it, and if it is a gift, read how to give refurbished tech at Christmas first so you do not lose your return window. More ideas by person are in tech gifts by person. All tablets are on the tablets page.

The prices in the text are those of 29 October 2026 and change daily; the cards show today's. Prices are rounded to the peso. We did not test the tablets. The specifications are those each maker publishes for the model, and the unit you receive may be a different region, capacity or version. Samsung's spec sheet for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE contradicts itself on the screen type, so we do not cite it.
